I am a master’s student in Industrial Design at Tsinghua University, advised by Prof. Luqi Chen. Previously, I served as a Research Intern at The Future Laboratory, Tsinghua University, working under the guidance of Prof. Yingqing Xu.
My research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Embodied Interaction, specifically exploring Mixed Reality (MR), exergames, and serious games. I investigate how immersive technologies and movement-based interactions can be leveraged to support physical training and education. By blending hardware prototyping with empirical research, my work translates abstract systems into accessible, human-centered experiences.
I have published in leading venues such as IJHCS, CHI EA, HRI, HCII, and IASDR (Top-tier Design Conference). My interdisciplinary work has also been recognized with multiple honors, including the 2025 Beijing Outstanding Graduate (Top 5%), the 2025 iF DESIGN AWARD, and the 2020 National Scholarship (Top 1%).
I am currently seeking Ph.D. opportunities starting in Fall 2026, aiming to advance the research of immersive and movement-based technologies to create engaging and human-centered experiences.

An exploratory CV implementation extracting player kinematics from broadcast footage—a proof-of-concept for our upcoming physical data-collection testbed and future scalable AI coaching tools.

Contributed to the system-level design and frontend integration of a DeepSeek-powered multi-agent platform, orchestrating API calls across enterprise knowledge bases and specialized agents to enable context-aware, autonomous workflows. Additionally, I designed a transparent UI for the ‘AI Brain,’ allowing users to visually track hierarchical task decomposition and inter-agent collaboration.

Master’s Thesis: Hu, Q. (2025). Master’s Thesis, Tsinghua University.
I have recently completed my Master’s in Industrial Design at Tsinghua University, and I’m currently seeking Ph.D. opportunities for Spring or Fall 2026.
Beyond academic work, I enjoy playing badminton to stay active and recharge. I’m passionate about exploring how design and user research can bridge the human body and emerging technologies, creating more intuitive, embodied, and meaningful interactions.
